Besides dentistry Dr. Avakian is passionate about Golf and enjoys outdoor activities with his wife, Arlene, two sons, and three grandchildren. Dr. Avakian received his degree in Dentistry from VCU-MCV in 1977, and has been an active member of the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the Virginia Dental Association since 1978.
